Waiting Phase

Hey friends, I'm so sorry it's been such a long time since we've posted any updates. When we got home, we finished up our last part of paperwork fairly quickly (praise the Lord!) It arrived in Russia on January 26th. So from what we have heard, it has to be translated, re-notarized, and then taken to the judge in Ryazan. Then we will wait for a court date. It could take a few weeks or months so we are in the waiting phase now.... We are doing okay, staying really busy especially with Keith's baseball season starting up. However, I think it is really hard for Sasha as he waits each day. Please pray for his little heart as he awaits becoming part of a family.

Here are some other ways we would love for you to pray:
*For the judge. We are asking that you begin praying for him or her now. Pray that their heart would be moved toward us giving us the okay to adopt Sasha. Pray that he/she will waive the 10 day appeals period so we can come home sooner being united as a family with Isaac.
*For wisdom. We are trying to decide if the 10 day period is not waived, if we will come home and then go back. Or if I will come home and Keith stay in Russia and me go back later. We are not sure yet...
*For Isaac. That God is preparing him to have an older brother soon.
*For finances. God is so good to have provided all that we have needed so far! However, there is still a chunk needing to be paid. We are waiting to hear back from 3 grants and a loan. God is faithful and we have faith that He will provide.
