We have been home a month now and things are going really well. Sasha is ALL boy! He loves being outside, anything with sports, and of course Nerf guns! Him and his friends have already had nerf wars. Two nights ago, Sasha went to his first movie - How to Train a Dragon in 3D. He LOVED it and kept trying to reach out and grab at the characters. Last night he spent the night with a friend of his, Dima. Dima was adopted last July from St. Petersburg and him and Sasha have become great friends.
Sasha has been doing so good at soccer and he is loving it. Too bad he only has two more games. Tomorrow he starts school! I can't believe it but he is very excited. He is only going for half days until the end of the year. Then in the afternoons, I will work with him on his homework and English while Isaac is napping. Please pray for him as he goes to school. Like I said, he is really excited but it will be challenging because of the huge language barrier. We went to the school on Friday and met Mr. D (the principal) and Sasha's teacher. She already had his desk set up and had told the children he was coming. They are very excited to meet him. The class is having a small party in the morning and breakfast to celebrate him coming to their class. He is one blessed little boy!
Isaac is doing well too. He loves his big bubba! If Sasha goes into another room, Isaac will ask "Where did Sasha go?" I'm sure I will hear that question a lot tomorrow :)
