Hey friends, well we head off to Russia on SUNDAY!!! YAY!!! I know you guys already know this but we are so excited! Please be in prayer for us.
Some specific ways you can pray are:
- For Isaac. He is staying with Keith's mom and will be very well taken care of. But it is still very hard leaving him.
- For safety for us while we travel and while we're in Russia
- For the medicals! This is a huge request! The fact that I have diabetes is a big deal to Russia. Keith and I will have 8 doctor medicals that will probably take about two days. Then they will decide if I am healthy enough to adopt. Please pray for good medical results and favor with the doctors and the Russian staff.
- For sweet S.S. He will find out that we are the ones adopting him. I can't wait to see his reaction! Pray that our time with him is sweet and bonding.
- For the other children at the orphanage. We think it will be difficult for some of the other children because they so badly want a family as well.

ReplyDeleteOur prayers are with you. After making 6 trips to Russia in the last 5 years, belive me we will re-live every moment along with you. I have my handy dandy Moscow Webcam and Weather.com ready...BTW there is snow on the ground in Moscow right now but the roads a clear! We know this whole thing is a bit scary, but God is in control.
