Today we got to the American Medical Center at around 3pm. They took blood, urine samples, and x-rays right off the bat. In between seeing the 8 different doctors, we sat in a waiting room with 3 other adoptive couples. It was fun hearing their stories of the children they were adopting. The doctors were all very friendly. A couple of them asked specifics about my diabetes but once they found out I was on the pump and they read the letters from my doctors, they seemed to not be concerned with it. Some of them asked us two or three questions and were done with us. We left the Medical Center at about 7. Thanks friends for y'alls prayers - we think we passed. :) We will find out Monday though.
Tomorrow we will do a little shopping and Sunday we head home. We miss Isaac like crazy and will be VERY glad to see him and all you guys. We also miss S.S. Hopefully not too long from now, we will all 4 be united as a family.
Have a great day! We appreciate all of you!
Great news about the medicals!!! God is good! Can't wait to see you guys!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite place to shop in Moscow is called Is My Love (or sounds like that)!!! It is an outdoor market, so dress warmly if you go there. Know the exchange rate handy so that you keep that in perspective as you shop for everyone on your Christmas list! The Christmas matruskas are fun. I wear my Russian aprons when I cook. Have fun! Still praying for you...
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathleen!
