Today we had our appointment at the US Embassy. There were about 4 other adoptive couples there with us as well. It was great to talk with them and hear their stories. It also made us thankful that we were adopting an older child. Not that any of them were complaining or had bad children, they were just talking about waking up in the middle of the night, dealing with normal two year old fits, biting, hitting, you know all the things that you go through with children that age. Don't get me wrong, we have our own issues but we are thankful that our son can tell us what he wants or needs even if right now it is in a different language.
After our Embassy appointment we went to STARBUCKS!!! It was our first time to see and go to a Starbucks in Russia. What a treat!
It was a good day!
