Today we went to the medical center for Sasha's check up. The doctor said he looks healthy except for having flat feet. But it's nothing that some inserts for his shoes and exercises won't take care of. We spent about 4 hours again in the car today. But thanks to the Game Boy (thank you Blythe!) and the camera - Sasha was much less bored! We got home around 2pm and had lunch. The rest of the day was spent watching movies, playing games, an English lesson with papa, and playing the Game Boy. German and his wife went out for a while so we weren't able to get out. We were a little stir crazy and it's only the first day in the apartment! Hopefully, good bonding time is happening though.

Sasha is affectionate toward us. He gives hugs and a few kisses. I think he is very happy to have a Mama and Papa! He can't wait to get home and see his brother.

We had our Bible devotion again to night. As I was praying for Isaac and Sasha, Sasha said "No, John." So I think he wants to be called John when he comes home. We'll see... Also Sasha said a little prayer tonight too. Thank you Lord for such a sweet hearted boy!

Thank you all for praying! Please continue as we get to know each other and for bonding as a family unit. Love yall!

  3. Hi! This is Kathleen sending our love to all of you! David was excited to see Sasha's picture today!
Try to make plans in advance with German and Marina to go places! You will be glad that you did! For Saturday...(sounds like)IsMyLove Market...my personal favorite! Sunday: There is a Russian Orthodox cathedral near their apartment. Very old and beautiful. German and Marina's children were baptized there. You(Erin)must wear something on your head. The experience is one to treasure...to worship Christ even though you can't understand their language.
